There are so many lies told about islam, its beyond a joke to be honest. Add to this the behaviour of some people who claim to be muslim, what you get is hatred for a misunderstood, misrepresented faith. I could do a whole site on the misconceptions alone, but thankfully for me there are other people out there who have already done this!
To take a quote i've ripped off from examinethetruth.com (sorry!), this perfectly describes those self proclaimed "experts" of Islam claiming to be "learned" people who intentionally spread lies:
